Deep dark brown coloured body with a thin off-white and tan head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on top. Aroma of toasted nuts, earth, grain and somehow a good deal of sugars and coconut. Medium-bodied; Rich earthy grain with a lot of malty and rustic, mushroomy flavours at first that have an enjoyable quality and a very earthy, nutty and malty quality along with a good deal of pitted fruits and residual sugars, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows a good oat and nutty flavour with a relatively smooth finish that brings our some good bitterness and finishes with a lot of sweet and caramely finish. Overall, a nice and enjoyable beer that hits the marks nicely without any pungency or uppity, new-school flavours, this is a classic and is executed very well. I sampled this twelve ounce pour on draught on 11-January-2023 here at the brewery here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma while here in the city for US$4,00.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish off-white and tan head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the sides. Aroma of roasted malt, caramelised sugars with a lot of nutty and earthy notes with a lot of dry and rye-like notes that make an earthy and grainy kick in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong rich nutty and earthy malts with a lot of sweetness and caramelised sugars with only a dash of alcohol towards the end, with a lot of figs and pitted fruits towards the end, with a nice bite throughout, a pleasant alcohol burn throughout that ends well. Overall, a very nice beer that a year aged really helped out with, a nice one to sample on draught at the brewery here in Oklahoma City. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the brewery and poured immediately into a glass for US$9,75 sampled at the source on 11-January-2023.
