8 oz. draft at the brewery. Pours a pitch black color with a tight light tan head with excellent retention. Very nitro looking. Great lacing. Faint dark roasted aroma. Dark roasted malt flavor (more than the aroma), and milk chocolate, with a milky lactose finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Not too sweet or bitter. Very neutral. Medium-light body. Low carbonation. Low bitterness.

Draft taster at the brewery. Black color with dark ruby highlights and a medium beige head. Smells like a stout. Very light, mellow flavor with some molasses notes in the finish. Not much roast. Smooth and clean, but it's too watery. Light carbonation. Low bitterness. Okay, but disappointing.

Draft taster at the brewery. Very dark brown color with a long lasting light tan head. Nice roasty aroma. The flavor starts with a nice dark roast, but it has a slightly tangy edge to it, almost like a foreign stout. Very smooth and clean. Light body for a porter. No bitterness.

Draft taster at the brewery. Crystal clear copper color with a long lasting off-white head. I can't distiguish the aroma. Very similar flavor to their Copper Star: Sweet caramel and light smoke flavor. No bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. I think they mixed up the Copper Star and Country Cardinal tasters.

Draft taster at the brewery. Crystal clear copper color with a long lasting off-white head. Very good lacing. Light caramel aroma. Nice caramel and smoke flavor too. Sweeter than a typical red ale. Tastes like an Irish red, but not as heavy. Medium body and carbonation. Low bitterness. I think they mixed up the Copper Star and Country Cardinal tasters.
