Description
The beer is named after the Slavic god Radegast. This, the most popular brand of beer in Moravia and characterised by its bitterness, is brewed in the Nošovice brewery from the highest quality brewing ingredients from Moravia. It was first brewed in 1970. The brand has a strong and loyal following in Moravia and Silesia, but is also popular with beer lovers all over the Czech Republic.

Since 1999 the brewery is owned by Pilsner Urquell, which is, in turn, owned by Asahi Breweries.

Brewed by Plzensky Prazdroj, according to the label. Brough in from the Czech Republic by a colleague. Small but fairly long lasting frothy head. Golden color. Grassy aroma with orange. Malty, grassy flavor with plastic. Some hops. Thin, but still not without taste.

0,5l can from Sintra potraviny in Starý Smokovec. Big, tan, good retention head. Amber clear colour. Aroma is watery malty, bit nutty, caramel. Taste is light malty base, watery caramel, bit nutty, medium carbonation, bit harsh bitterness, useless beer.

Canned 500ml.-from local market in Praha...RBESG 2109 day 2. Straight from the can, shared with hrabren. Light grainy, bready, herbal hops and rather bitter finish. Usual stuff.
