Description
The beer is named after the Slavic god Radegast. This, the most popular brand of beer in Moravia and characterised by its bitterness, is brewed in the Nošovice brewery from the highest quality brewing ingredients from Moravia. It was first brewed in 1970. The brand has a strong and loyal following in Moravia and Silesia, but is also popular with beer lovers all over the Czech Republic.

Since 1999 the brewery is owned by Pilsner Urquell, which is, in turn, owned by Asahi Breweries.

20.10.2018 Aromat słodki trochę chmielu, masła ale ogólnie nie wyczuwam nic. Piana jest ale opada szybko ogólnie złociste klarowne. Smak goryczkowy chmiel korzenny i słodowość, ale głównie chmiel, diacetylu nie wyczuwam. Nagazowanie średnie, średnie ciało, finisz goryczkowy. Ogólnie taki typowy pilsner goryczkowy ogólnie smaczny, trochę bardziej gorzki niż zwykły lagier.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, bready, cardboard, straw. Flavour is rather harshly bitter. Body is light. I like bitterness in my Pilsner, but this is unbalanced. Not very good.

Bottle 0,50ltr bought in Karlovy Vary, Czech Rep: One of the better Bohemian Beers i tasted, Golden amberlittle bit sweet and mildly bitter finish.

500 ml can. Clear golden with a creamy head. Intense zesty hops, metal, grain, stone fruit, bread, sourdough, some vanilla. Hoppy zesty metallic bitterness with a grainy fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty metallic bitter finish. Very good, very similar to Pilsner Urquell…
