Surly: The frustration we felt when we couldn't find a good beer, much less a great one, in Minnesota. So we made some.

Great beer is all that really matters. Well, that and pushing your limits a bit, looking out for your people, taking pride in where you’re from, and having as much damn fun as you can while doing it.

Still a great beer. Doesn’t have the sweetness and adjunct-heavy character or mouthfeel of some of the newer big bois, but solid thick roasty chocolate, lots of coffee, smooth. Layered

Can from Systembolaget. Hazy orange with a small white head. Lemon, grass, light toffee and some mango. Warming notes in the finish. Bitter finish.

Can.Dark orange colour with small white head.Aroma of mango and ripped fruit nice bitterness and mild tangerine and vanilla note really nice overall.

Can from Beer Rebublic web shop. GOdllen color with medium whit ehead. Strong citrus hoppy aroma together with zest, passion fruits, pines. Taste is hop centered with grapefruit, zest, light pines, touch of tropical fruits. Long hoppy bitter finish.

16 ounce can from DeCicco’s in Armonk, NY. Orange gold color. Smallish puffy white head. Piney hop aroma. Flavor is dank and sticky. Hops dominate here. Bittersweet notes lean toward grapefruit and coniferous trees. This is a classic West Coast style IPA. Dry and bitter throughout. Quite enjoyable.
