This ultimate golf course beer shows up after the PNW golf season ends. Guess I better grab a growler and brave the elements. Really tasty plus here, and far from typical. Pint enjoyed on draft at Bottleworks. Clean and clear golden pour, lasting mousse foam head. Earthy, cracked grains on the nose. Really smooth taste, refreshing, and full of flavor, a huge plus for my pilsner ranks. Taste is barely nutty, grassy hops make an appearance. Smooth and too easy to drink. I need more awesome pilsners in my life.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh piney hops upfront, with grassy notes and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully dank, with piney hops, fresh dankness and a crisp biscuity malt base. Oh man, the dank fresh hops here are wonderful. Lovely.

Small can at Josh&Sunshine place. Pours a bit hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy. Taste is quite weak with lots of hoppy bitterness. Harsh. Meh.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor; can
Hazy blond colour. Some dank hops in the aroma. The mouthfeel is a bit grainy, husky, and the hops are moderately grassy with a citrus touch.

Gold with a slight haze. The aroma has a nice weedy note, with a touch of mango. Bitter, but not with much freshness. Maybe a touch of stale hop, with a hint of amber malts.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out subtle mango and subdued piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued mango, citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Dry and floral. It's okay.

12 oz can from work. Aroma is leafy, earthy hops, vegetal, dank. Pours nearly clear new penny copper to deep gold with a long lasting bone-white head with great retention and some lace. Taste is moderately to highly bitter with tropical fruit, earth, leafy vegetal hops. Kind of boozy--alcohol very noticeable. Has the right mouthfeel and carbonation. Disappointing aroma, but the more than decent flavors somewhat make up for it. Overall, it's not too bad, but I was expecting a lot more from this.

Crowler fill from Growler Guys. Aroma is pineapple, mango, citrus peel, earthy/herbal hops, light grassiness. Pours clear pale golden with a thick off-white fluffy head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bitter (highly bitter for style) and lightly sweet with New World hops co-mingling with herbal/earthy Noble-esque type hops. I wish there was more carbonation, but I wonder if that's a crowler issue. Excellent modern take on this classic style.
