Crisp golden coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall just off-white head that fades fairly quickly and leaves a nice lace on the sides. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers and some perfume, but also a good note of biscuity and wheatie malts and a little sugar noticeable, too. Medium-bodied; Relatively strong grassy and floral hop notes show at first with a good level of alpha acids from the hops, with a nice kick of perfume and even some citrus flavours come out as well, all balanced nicely with the especially biscuity malts and while there isn't much sugar present, there's a touch. Aftertaste shows some light grainy flavours from the malts as well, with a good layer of sweetness and the hops that cap it off nicely with a lot of bitterness. Overall, a pretty nice, relatively standard, but enjoyable throughout and a nice beer to sample, especially fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Fairfield, California on 28-August-2022 for US$3,50 sampled on the streets of downtown San Francisco, California just a few hours later on 28-August-2022. Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours clear, bright gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma of earth, melon and a bit of orange citrus. Med body. It's ever so slightly less than dry with orange citrus, green melon and a herb/earth aspect. Nicely bitter. Excellent.

On tap at Harry's Hofbrau. Pours clear light gold with small white head that retains. Both citra and tropics are in the aroma and flavor, and both are a bit restrained. Alcohol is well hidden.

Very crisp, almost perfectly clear golden coloured body with a very thin, off-white head that fades very quickly and doesn't leave much up top at all. Aroma of bitter hops with some floral notes, a little citrus and an odd chocolate (milk) note on the maltiness right behind which is fairly noticeable and a bit robust. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and citrus flavours show at first with some lime notes, a dash of papaya and mangoes and a little bit of flowers right behind with some rather rich malts and sugars that provide a nice backbone and bring out a rich character at the finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of soured candy with some limes, mangoes, a bit of passionfruit and a light papaya note that adds to the richness and complexity at the end, with a dry grassy finish and a bit of malts that show through just about everything. Overall, a pretty nice IPA with some tropically notes along with a dash of mangoes, papaya and a lot of lime flavours with a good deal of bitterness and richness for the style with some pleasant bitterness throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Fairfield, California on 07-March-2022 for US$3,75 sampled in my hotel room here back in Fairfield, California on 11-March-2022 before heading home.
