Tap at Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City. Citrus and a bit of pine. Slight sweetness. Clear golden-orange with white head that fades to a collar. Slight patterns. Taste follows aroma with a bit of leaning into the sweetness from the crystal. More like a pale ale to me...but a tasty one.

Draft. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Malt aroma. Caramel and light citrus flavor with light woodsiness. Medium bodied. Caramel and light toasted malt linger with light citrus and light woodsiness.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 15, 2019. Aroma is a balanced mix of hops and malt. Moderate cracker malt, biscuit and toasted bread. Medium hop notes of grapefruit, pine, resin and woodsy notes. Hints of alcohol spice. Pours a slightly hazy, brownish red with a medium sized, thick, slightly tan head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate malt notes of cracker, biscuit and toasted bread. Fairly strong, assertive bitterness with light alcohol spice. Moderate grapefruit, pine, resin and woodsy, earthy dank notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a better hoppy red than I was expecting, but it's definitely not my preferred style. The hop profile isn't fruity, but I think that is what makes it work with this darker malt profile.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 15, 2019. Aroma is hop forward with a dank onion note and lighter citrus notes. Light herbal, spicy note that is really odd for a hop aroma. Light grain notes and hints of alcohol spice. Pours a fairly clear, golden orange with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a moderate grain note and a bit of biscuit. Moderate bitterness and light alcohol spice. Moderate hop notes with onion and hints of citrus. The flavor again has the weird, herbal, spicy note that was in the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, not a very good IPA. This odd hop(?) note is really unpleasant. I guess it's dank, but that kind of dank where you can't decide if it's great or just poopy.

3.8 Apr 28, 2019 Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 19, 2019. Aroma is hop forward with mango, pineapple and other tropical fruit. Lighter stone fruit and some orange and mandarin. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a fairly large, moderately thick, frothy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt notes and a bit of biscuit. Moderately strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderate tropical fruit notes with mango, passion fruit and pineapple. Lighter stone fruit with mandarin and orange. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low to medium low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA. Good hop notes, but the grain character is slightly astringent. Light dank notes, but mostly fruity.

Can. Pours clear golden, medium off-white head, dissipates leaving good lacing. Aroma is pine, pot, grapefruit, dank. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, deceptive ABV. Good west coast IPA

Very nice peanut butter beer. It's medium strong, but meshes well with the full body of the stout. Very good. Oaktoberfest

Tap at Harry's Hofbrau. Felt like the hops were a bit restrained for the write up. Melon, dank aroma. Moderately hazed gold with minimal white head. Taste is fruity esters and guava, with a bit of sugar on the back and slight malt cloy - not unexpected for the ABV.
