Aromas are a bit mild blend of citrus, resin and malt. Flavors are much better than nose, everything stands out more and add in some MJ. Excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Wish I had more. Very tasty.

12 oz. can, pours a hazed pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has bright citrusy hops, some pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with lots of fresh citrus zest, pine, and biscuity malt. Bright, citrusy, nicely piney finish. Great westie.

On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of earthy hops and deep toasted malt. Flavour is deep, with a wonderful balance of roasted malt and earthy, piney hops. Now this is an old school black IPA that doesn’t skimp on the hops or malt. Excellent.
