On tap at tap station west Seattle. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a long lasting cream head. Nose is lots of floral hops and a nice malt. Taste is full malts along with a good hop mix.

Nice piny aroma, lasting thick, foamy head, clear copper body. Taste is nothing out of the ordinary, hops mild enough for malt flavors to be present. Decent but not outstanding

On tap at base camp. Pours a dark copper brown color with a medium white head. A light fruity smoky nose. Big fresh citrus hops, chocolate, smoke. Damn this is nice. A hoppy dark german brew. Solid.

On Tap at Bier:Thirty Clear golden. lots of effervescence and a thich lasting bright white head. Clean light crisp pilsner flavors. A touch malty and substantial. Very good example of a style I am not typically a fan of.

Sampler at the brewery. This is the kind of beer that I never liked and its not even what I don’t usually like about it. Its just a lot of malts that aren’t sweet but just messy. The bitterness isn’t super strong, kind of indistinct hops. Just a lopsided, uninteresting beer that would have been cool a decade ago.

A few samples at the brewery. A thoroughly disappointing imperial stout. Relatively light and flabby. Ashy and chalky, flavors very retrained to the point of being watered down. Industrial and stale. Muted yeast characteristics. Frankly, I would never have guessed this was an imperial stout.

Have had this a few times recently at the brewery. I think the description is fairly accurate. Its not quite any lager style. Light beer, some grainy malts, some light indistinct hops, not overly sharp. Some heft to the malts for the "style." I think its a generally drinkable dull golden lager and one of the better beers regularly made by this brewery.

Have had this 3 times over about 6 weeks at the brewery (I kept taking beer people over there). Every time I get the same feeling, this is a Scotch Ale but its poorly done. Some caramel and earthy malts but its light and stripped down. Dusty, industrial aspect to the beer. If Newcastle made a Scotch Ale it would be close to this.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma is dry, bringing out notes of cocoa, chalk, and dry malt. Flavour is sweeter, with notes of caramel, chocolate and roasted malt. Really well-balanced, with just enough caramel sweetness to make this interesting. Very good.

Draft - Dark chocolate and roast malts. Deep jet brown with a decent beige head. Rich chocolate note, vanilla notes and a nice light Roasty finish. Quite nice.
