Draught@Taproom Grill, Downtown Seattle
Clear amber color, small white head. Piney, sweet fruity aroma. Quite light body for 7.2% beer! Tropical pineapple fruityness and pine in the flavor. Aftertaste has pine needles ... really NW hopped beer. Fruity, hoppy and suprisingly light for this ABV.

Sampler Tray @Blue Star, Seattle. Dark brown body. Bitter chocolate aroma. Strong and bitter taste: burnt coffee and roasted almonds. It goes perfect with sweet chocolate cake, but it’s not a beer you drink pints of or enjoy by itself, really... (19.Dec 2011 in the pleasant company of Stefan)

On tap at The Porch in Hayden, ID. Aroma of toasted marshmallows, kind of English. Pours black with a whitish-beige head and creamy lace. Taste is initially sweet, turns bitter, then leaves a sweet and sour finish. Nice roasted flavor. Medium to low carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Nice porter.
