The original brewery and tasting room in Ballard closed to the public in 2015 when our Taproom opened, but we still brew pilot batches here every week on our 5bbl system. Our Taproom features a brewery right in the middle of the tasting room, where we brew batches of beer that you’ll taste in both here, at The Brewtap, and in distribution. Our system here is 15bbl. In 2019 a new production brewery opened. This is where we brew the majority of the beers you see in cans and bottles on our 30bbl brewhouse, it is also home to The Brewtap, our second tasting room.
At our family brewery we brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making that extra effort is worth it. From your everyday favorites beers to our innovative new releases, we help you grow your love of beer.

Draft pour at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Pours a nice and unique ruby red grapefruit juice appearance. Lasting active fizz head. Quite a tart constant here. Sweet and sour both, with flavors similar to a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. Sourness 8/10. Juicy, long lasting sour fruit finish. Fun brew here.

Pint can. Golden orange pour with a large fluffy head. Sweet citrus filled hoppy aroma with light tropical fruit notes. Sweet and fruity up front into a modest grapefruit bitter end. Super easy drinking.

On tap at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Pale golden appearance, with an active fizz head. Soft mineral front flavor. Floral hops come through on aroma and flavor, though in moderation. Light, and easy drinking pils. Nice and refreshing brew.

Draft pour enjoyed at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Juicy orange haze, a bit thinner when compared next to other hazies in their dense lineup. Lasting cream foam head. Gentle nose with melon notes. Cool flavor up front, slick body, smooth melon juicy notes over an earthy malt bill. Has a light feel with no lack of flavor going on. Well balanced and well executed brew here.

Draft pour enjoyed at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Dense, orange juice haze. Active fizz head. Quite the dank nose here, stone fruit, and sweating hops. Flavor is creamy orange fruit, with a decent amount of bitterness lasting late. Bitter palate with this hazy. Rich up front, bolds out nicely. Fun Galaxy showcase here. Solid hazy overall.

Draft pour at Reuben's. Rating from backlog. Dense, juicy haze, with a thick cream foam head and lacing. Nose kinda reminds me more of a west coast IPA, with aggressive piney hop character. Flavor really flips it back though, with a cream body, juicy smooth citrus, and a more sutble grapefruit peel like bitterness. Slick late palate. Cool and tasty.

Draft pour at Reubens. Rating from backlog. Clean and shiny golden appearance. Lively bard, high fizz head. Moderately fragrant straw grain nose, with a matching flavor. Grassy hops jump in, and start to bitter this up nicely. Grains dominate in this flavorful lager. Not as unique tasting as I expected from the extensive description, but a tasty and refreshing lager regardless.

Citrus mostly. Golden pour with decent head. Bitter finish. Some peel. A little grapefruit. Hops aroma isn't as big as Reuben's better beers.

Pint Can from Total Wine. Yellow with a slight haze, nice thick white head with thick sheets of lacing. Aroma is true to style; sweet citrus and light floral hops. Taste is hop-forward with citrus and florals leading the way. Light malty backbone. Moderately bitter finish is crisp and refreshing.
