About
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.

Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.

Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

On tap at Half Acre, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has a ridiculous amount of bourbon, oodles of coconut, plenty of espresso, and wood -- damn. Flavour is ridiculous, with an insane amount of toasted coconut that dominates, followed by espresso, and a complex bourbon barrel blend. Regular Benthic was over-the-top, this is on another level. Beautiful extreme beer.

On tap at Half Acre, pours jet black with a small brown head. Nose is jammed with intense dark roast espresso, bourbon, dark sugars, and a touch of coconut. Flavour is even better, featuring massive amounts of coconut and espresso vying for frontrunner, wrapped around oodles of bourbon and some dark sugars. An "old school" pastry BA impie, where there's still roast/big malts, not just sweetness. Everything works harmoniously. Wonderful.

On tap at Half Acre, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice resinous hop bite, gentle stone fruit, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is crisp, with bitter piney hops, some woodiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Crisp, well-hopped and balanced. Very good.

On tap at Half Acre, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out juicy mango, bitter piney hops, some resinous, and a touch of sweetness. Flavour is bitter, with floral hops, a tocuh of mango, some pine, and washed out biscuity malt. This one's not totally coming together for me. A bit too floral, borderline soapy hop expression. It's alright.

16 ounce can. Chestnut brown color is topped by a frothy beige head. Earthy malt aroma hints at sticky pine and citrus peel. This one has noticeable dankness right outta the gate. Sticky pine, grapefruit pith and lime wedges. Hints of black peppercorns and juniper berries on backend.
