16 oz can poured, picked up at Tapped, Mill Creek. Canned 11/16/23. One of a kind Cloudburst artwork with this unique collab. Jet black pout with a borderline gushing tan cola head. Gentle chocolate aroma is covered by a bright and fragrant vanilla note. Slick and creamy, and this stout shys away from any big roast, bitterness, or bold imperial attributes. Really drinks lighter, doesn't feel imperial, and is well balanced. Less than overdone toast, cool vanilla, a touch of sweet caramel note. A fun and interesting stout here.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of medium roasted malt, light vanilla, and dark liquorice. Flavour has plenty of dark liquorice, vanilla, moderate roast, and a touch of cocoa. Lots of liquorice and vanilla on the finish. Fairly light-bodied. Not the most complex but well-balanced and tasty enough.

Can thanks to Megan. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, grass, pine, bitter finish, very good.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of nutmeg and ginger upfront, followed by cinnamon and toasted malt. Flavour is very spicy, with lots of the aforementioned Xmas spices, dry toasted caramel, and bready malt. Spicy, dry and malty. Decent.

4 pack of cans picked up at Tapped, Mill Creek. Might have a chance to make up on some lost ground with Cloudburst at this place. Canned 11/7/23. Nice blend of hop profiles. Presents both piney, citrus, and tropical notes. Steady aggressiveness and bite on this. Flavorful IPA that sits nicely between the coasts in style. Lingering sharp piney bitterness. Too easy to kick back and enjoy these on a lazy Sunday.

On tap at Chuck's Hop Shop - Seward Park, pours a somewhat hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly neutral, with soft bready malt, and very subdued earthy hops. Flavour has a strange, muffled hop character, with lots of earthiness, some muddled chalk, and bready notes. Not a nice hop expression. A miss.

On tap at Chuck's Hop Shop - Seward Park, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of bright piney hops, crisp biscuity malt, and a hint of dankness. Flavour is bright and piney, with bitter pine cones, gentle dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright, piney, bitter, with a thin malt base -- a bit grainy/seltzery, but not too bad. Very good. I wish Cloudburst would do more IPAs like this.

On tap at RidgeWood, pours a cloudy peachy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out stone fruit pith, dank hops, some chalk. Flavour is chalky and hopburny, with stone fruit pith, some dankness, still too much chalky hopburn, and a touch of sweetness. Hop character is fine but just too much hopburn. Meh.
