Draft at brewery. Hazy orange gold pour. Floral hop aroma hints at citrus and pine. Flavor mirrors nose. Bittersweet citrus and pine. Notes of grapefruit, citrus pith and resiny pine. Sticky mouthfeel. Dry , bitter finish.

Cloudy gold body with thick white lasting head. Aroma has citrus, and malt. Sliding hop taste with a firm malt base. Malty finish that lasts. Light body like a kolsch should have.

On tap at WABF, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some hopburn, earthy hops, and light melon. Flavour is rather muffled, with some hopburn, melon, and bready malt. A bit rough but reasonably constructed. Okay.

On tap at WA Brewers Fest 2026. Pours a murky pale yellow with a white head. Grassy pine, some dank oils, and some yeastiness on the nose. Flavour is a bit yeasty, some dank pine, a bit of hop burn. Not terrible, not great.

On tap at JUXT. Pours black with a tan head. Cocoa and a rich, toasted, bready malt on the nose. Flavour has a chewy, slightly metallic malt base, dark sugars. A solid imperial stout, more European than American.

On tap at Cloudburst on Shilshole, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is full of rich, woody, resinous hops, a touch of pine, and dry bready, caramel mat. Flavour is much the same, with big chewy caramel malt, woody resinous hops, a touch of pine. Nicely balanced, maybe not as hoppy as I want (despite the 65 IBUs). Very well-constructed.

On tap at Cloudburst on Shilshole, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has soft toasted malt, some earthiness, not much else. Flavour is dry, with soft toasted malt, not much else. Finishes dry, earthy. Pretty timid. Meh.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty laid-back, with gentle gooseberry-like hop tang and bright pine. Flavour is much the same, with bright melon, gooseberry hop tang, pine, light mineralogy notes, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Fantastic hop expression, good balance. Excellent.
