Bright, toasty, lots of malt, with lots of crystal malt, some alcohol. Nice hop integration, good piney character. Well-balanced.

16 oz. can, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, a little pine, and dry bready caramel. Flavour is nicely balanced between the resinous hops and caramel malt, but I want more hops (might be the age). Well-made though, especially for a style one doesn’t see much anymore.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear auburn red with small off-white head. Pine hops, crystal malt, light booze, slightly muted, but could be age (~5 months).

On tap at Cloudburst on Shilshole, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of dankness, pine, oily resins, and a touch of thin biscuity malt. Flavour has bitter pine, oily resinous hops, citrus, and some sweet biscuity malt. Oily, bitter finish. Very good.

On tap at Cloudburst on Shilshole, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fairly muddled in hop expression, with earthy hops, not much else. Flavour is rather muddled, with earthy hops, some doughy notes, and basically just a muddled hop bill that obscures any character from the hop varietals. Not terrible but pretty underwhelming.

On tap at Ridgewood, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has bright, bitter piney hops, and some lightly sweet cereal malt to back. Flavour has plenty of sweet resinous hops, pine, and sweet cerealy bready malt to back. Well-balanced between hops and malty, finishing piney and lightly doughy. Excellent.

On tap at Ridgewood, pours a clear hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has a herbal hop character, with some tangy citrusy and light doughy notes. Flavour has a herbal hop character, some green vegetables, tangy citrus, and doughy malt. Not really liking the hop expression here despite the good fundamentals. Okay.

On tap at Cloudburst - Shilshole. Pours nearly opaque dull yellow with a white head. Pale dry citrus, a bit of dankness on the nose. Flavour has pale citrus, pithy, chalky muddled palate. Standard, mediocre hazy.
