Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Pours a cloudy tang color with a rocky foam head. Ton of lacing here. Huge grapefruit citrus aroma, which is the start of everything I love about IPA’s. Throw some grapefruit in there, and it’s awesome. I don’t eat grapefruit ever, because I never cared for it, but put it in a beer, and it’s a whole new story. My favorite feature in an IPA for sure. Grapefruit comes through dominant in the flavor as well. Nice citrus. Great hop character. I feel like someday, Cloudburst will be a household name in this industry. They got something special going. I guess they do have plenty of experience to back them up. Fantastic IPA to say the least.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8
Orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus fruit, light candied fruit, floral notes, and light malt. Medium bodied. Flavor follows the same line with nice citrus hop bitterness, middle sweet malts holding it together, and a lingering bitterness. This was ordered only because I hadn’t heard of them before and I’m real glad I did. Hopefully this becomes easier to find. Top-notch.
