(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a dense, white head. Aroma of malt and mash. Light and watery with light accents of malt and a hoppy finish. OK for the style. 141106

(On tap) Hazy, orangey golden with an off-white head leaving a pretty lacework. Typical wheat esters of yeast, citrus and banana. Medium-bodied with sweet - very sweet - banana accents. 141106

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a fairly tall and handsome head with good retention. Medium body with a solid and sweet malt base quickly buried in some rather raw bittering hops. But quite harmonious as a whole. 141106

Bottle: Golden coloured, thin foamy layer, sticking a bit to the glass; cardboardy, malty and slightly bitter nose, "perfumed" with a touch of vegetables; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; sweet-bitter, very short finish. Very bland example of a typical "northern-german" Pilsener..........

(bottle, three weeks past the BB-date; with thanks to pivnizub !) Cloudy, hazy chestnut brown colour with a big but non-persisting, slightly off-white foamy head. Very fruits-accented aroma of dark berries with soft herbal notes. Sweet and sour flavour; medium to light bodied mouthfeel. Slightly mouldy wheaty taste with a distinctive fruitiness of dark berries; dryish, fruity and malty finish. Rather uncommon, but quaffable fruit-accented Dunkelweizen.

(bottle, with thanks to pivnizub !) Clear, pale golden with a mid-sized, not very stable blonde foamy head. Herbal hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet malty touch. Bitter flavour with strong metallic notes, light to medium body, crispy carbonated mouthfeel. Rather hops-accented character compared to the normal Hütt Pils. Soft malty base with strong herbal notes; dry and bitter finish with metallic hops. If they had chosen better hops…

(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, pale golden with a moderate blonde foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty and grainy nose with notes of grassy hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Initially malty and slightly grainy with herbal hops. The latter getting stronger towards the finish which is dry and bitter with a touch of grassiness. Mediocre Pils.
