[ As Bednary Orange Machine ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, nutty, dusty, moderate hoppy, earthy citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, earthy, citrus - orange, fruity, dusty. [ As Bednary Lowickie FES (Foreign Extra Stout) ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, dusty coffee, sugary malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, sweet malt, coffee, dusty, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160204]

0,33l bottle at home as Stoutopia Smoked Edition. BB 15.06.2016. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells smoke, peat, ash, spices, light lactic, a bit glueish. very lovely, very balanced smoke aroma. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of peat, smoke, spices, peppery, bitter herbal, light coffee, light glueish. finishes lightly bitter lightly / sourish even with notes with notes of bitter herbs, some smoke and spices. great one, nicely balanced. overall I am not a fan of peat, but its in check on this one. Drinks great.

BB 15.08.2016. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells coffee, licorice, earthy, light ashy, bit glueish, roast. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather roasty, ash, charcoal, light earthy, lightly lactic, coffee, bit glueish, bitter herbal. finishes rather roast and rather bitter with notes of coffee, ash, a bit glueish and some herbal bitterness. good one, quite ashy / roasty / bitter but with some nice lactic notes that balance a bit, a bit more body and and more lactic notes would be improve this even further, but overall great beer.
