(can) clear, bright yellow colour with a medium tall beige head; short lived aroma of stewed fruit, hint of citrus; balanced flavour with a long, very light bitter finish; not bad for the style

On tap at Conservatory. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is wet biscuit and grain. Medium mouth, bready malt and earth, light finish, decent.

Hazy and very crisp copper body with an amber glow and a thick three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grass, citrus, resin and some light pine - notes of hop pellets as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Nice sweet citrus and grassy hoppiness with some grapefruit, hay and a large herbal element, all with some smooth malt that shows well. Aftertaste shows a little grass, a lot of sweetness, some hay, light cereal malt and a smooth fruit sweetness - noticeable pear and apple flavours - nice! Overall, a good IPA with a nice balance of malt and some smooth fruity and grassy flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Spec’s Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$2,62 sampled at home in Washington on 30-April-2016 when it was pretty noticeable that the can was about to explode!

Poured up on tap at AZ Strong Beer Fest 2016 where it exhibits a slightly hazy deep copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up aged malts, blunted and aged malty pine hops and then kind of a crystal malt sensation toward the end of the draw. The taste is soft, smooth and delicious where I get slick sweet malts and then quickly nuanced with sticky pine hops and kind of faint yet heavy sweet dark fruity esters. This is just coming across as a delicious deep and balanced sipper.
