Beautiful amber appearance with gold amount of stable foam. Aroma is caramel malts all over the place, hardly any hops. Taste is sweet-malty, very straightforward. Tastes just like a brewery smells when brewing with caramel malt, or like Malzbier :D Really nothing too intense though.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and loose foamy white head. Dusty aroma with bready malt and a little wheat, accompanied by overripe fruits, banana and phenolic spices. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Bready malty and slightly wheaty taste with notes of banana; bready and slightly papery finish with mildly clovy phenols. No highlight. 09.IX.14

Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Lightly hazy mahogany colour, rich creamy head. Fruity grassy nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Some grains and caramel, plenty of brad and spicy, grassy hops. Long bitter finish. Mild, yet rich.

Had this as Wuppertaler 1/2 Weizenbier. Thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-yeasty, modest sweet. Not too dry. Light fruity notes of apricot. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!

The beer starts smooth, grainy. Absolutely untypical for a Pils - more an Export. Smooth, grainy with hints of sweetness. This sweetness becomes even more dominant in the mainpart. Nearly no bitterness here. Only in the last part of the aftertaste there is a sharp bitterness. But the sweetness lies all over the brew.
For a Pils not good, for an Export not too bad. 7/11/8/7
