Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, pale greenish-golden with a stable white lacy head; unripe - "green" - nose with sweet pale-malty and hoppy traces; relatively sweet pale-malty and hoppy traces; relatively sweet and light bitter flavour; light bodied - soft MF; unfermented sugars, malt, aromatic hops and some fruity traces in the short finish. Typical boring german (modern) "Hausbrauerei-Bier", but fortunately not the worst one.......

Bügelverschlußflasche (100 cl): Deep golden, hazy with a small and very stable white head; moderate sweetish-bisquity-grainy nose with traces of toasted malt over a yeasty-fruity background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; honeyish-sweetish finish with an increasing bitterness toward the aftertaste. Astonishingly decent, well rounded german Hausbrauerei brew..........

Bügelverschlußflasche (100dl): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, small persistent off-white head; sourish-malty nose with a touch of toasted malt; sourish and sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied; cacao powder in the sourish and dryish malty finish. Surely infected............

Weich herbmalziger Antrunk mit geringfügiger Abschwächung im Mittelteil. Interessant wird es erst wieder zum Ende, wenn das Malz intensiver wird. Hier unterstützt die Süße etwas zu stark und auch getreidige Noten kommen zum Vorschein, das Malz steht aber im Mittelpunkt – wenn auch nur kurzfristig, denn wirklich lange ist der Nachgeschmack nicht.

Unreif hopfig-säuerlicher Antrunk, zahm, langweilig. Etwas herb, weiter säuerlich, leider verschwindet dieser Ton nicht. Ansatzweise malzig, grasig im Abgang werdend. Höchstens durstlöschend. Test vom 12.5.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,6,7,7,-,6 - 6,52

Special - wohl einen auf international gemacht? Unreif wässrig-säuerlicher Antrunk, langweilig, eintönig malzig. Auch weiterhin ist eine herb-saure Note vorherrschend. Hiergegen ist die Wässrigkeit fast noch angehenhm, im Abgang leicht herb. Ne! Test vom 12.5.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 7,5,6,5,-,5 - 5,36

(from the tap at Wuppertaler Brauhaus) Hazy dark brown colour with a sticky off-white foam, slowly lacing. Aroma is malty with hints of butterscotch and hops. Lighter bodied than expected; taste of buttery and slightly toasted malts with an almost lasting dry and hoppy finish. The Dunkel is much better than the Wupper Helles.

(from the tap at Wuppertaler Brauhaus) Hazy & pale yellow colour with a frothy white medium head. Slight aroma of malts with hops. Medium body and carbonation. Malty and yeasty start with dry and bitterhoppy finish. A somewhat drinkable but very boring Brauhaus Lager.
