Bottle pour at the source. Clear, rich classy gold pour. Musky, strong, heavy blanket & melted rubber on the nose. Taste is similar. Bittersweet forward, big barnyard, lingering honey sweetness, earthy with a bit of popsicle stick astringency. Just a bit too much dirty funk. Frothy & consistent. Interesting & complex but a bit difficult.

Bottle pour at the Aurora taproom. Clear, pale orange gold, slightly active pour. Oily, caramelized, green apple nose. Tart, fresh fruit, oily palate, green grapes, acidic apple, very crispy, slight sulfites, sharp & sweet finish. Not as dense & amazing as the best Wickson, but still pretty good.

Bottle pour at the source. My notes say 2021 but I can't confirm I wasn't just sloppy writing it down. Clear, active, pale apple gold, frothy. Faded caramel, gently sweet, clean apple nose. Thin sour cherry, tart crab apple, touch of lettuce, very malic & semi-sweet. Thin & forceful bubbles. Good-ish.

Bottle pour at the source. Clear, vibrant, very pale, active. Very buttery, mushy apple skin nose. Semi-sweet & very veggie. Low tart, middle high acid, slight banana esters, minerally sweet finish. Big, forced bubbles. Slight slickness. Pedestrian, soda adjacent & a little too messy.

375ml from the tap room. Trip in the luggage. Stemless at home. Clear, medium pale, strong soda sizzle. Oaky, sweet prosecco, red dessert apple skin, orange nose. Semi-sweet, oaky, strong malic acid, rounded tropical, lemon tea, very strong carb. Very approachable if a bit too much acid for a pedestrian; Too sweet. Decent enough.

375ml taken home in my luggage from the source. Pint glass at home. Clear, crispy, pale gold, quick soda head. Acidic, bittersharp, sweet white grape, understated nose. Taste is lots of upfront white grape. Semi-sweet, caramelized, hyper sharp, minerally, high tart, malic acid, a twinge of pineapple-y sulfites that get stronger as it warms. Lingering skin with only a slight astringency on the finish. Not that complicated. Thin, strong carb, easy abv, wants to be dry. Good+.
Really hits the spot today, nice soft carby sweet apple juice with hints of honey and tropics. Reminder to self to buy more of this.
Soft baked apple and dark chocolate is accurate, pretty dry though so the flavors are muted for me and my preferences.
Lots of cherry and strawberry notes wrapped up in a bit of tannin, tasting notes on point! Overall pretty dry, bubbly, and delish.
Ugh been too long since I had haykin, as delicious as ever. Lemon meringue and maple syrup notes on point with hints of banana and clove.
