Draft at the brewery. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Damp grains in the nose, old citrus fruits. Medium sweet flavour, astringent, with notes of grass, rind, alcohol and oily pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish, lightly resinous, with more damp grains, abrasive husky bitterness. Harsh overall. Rather poor.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds perfume, grains, orange peel. Medium sweet flavour with more rind, grass. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Astringent finish, with lots of grassy bitterness. Quite rough overall.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, orange-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds brown bread and restrained saison yeast. Medium sweet flavour with some bitter orange peel, bread crust and caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Harsh bitterness in the finish, with moderate phenolic character, toast, brown sugar. Overly bitter, disjointed and not terribly drinkable.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow with a foamy topping. The nose holds mild floral hops, lemongrass. Light sweet flavour, a little astringent, with citrus peel bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish with more lemongrass character, some pithy citrus. Just so so. A bit mediocre, really.

Quite drying on the finish, with more dominant minerality, rindy citrus, grass, disruptive astringency. Tough going. Not very enjoyable.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds dry cocoa and light roast. Light sweet flavour with notes of bitter chocolate, earth, and faint dark fruits. Light in body with average carbonation. Moderately drying to finish, with more baking cocoa character. Fine overall. One of the better offerings from this brewery.

Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry and moderately grassy on the finish. A little harsh and rocky. So so.
