Trocken rstig-schokoladiger Antrunk. Vollmundig, etwas zu stark karbonisiert. Etwas bitter, die Trockenheit nimmt zu. Rstig-bitterer Nachhall. Guter Start, simples Ende. Okay. 10/8/9/7/7/8

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours clear golden. Aroma is malts, low corn, starch, vegetable. Body is medium, softly sweet, low to flat carbonation, little sweetness. Short palate, but still not dry. Almost no flavours. Meh.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours almost clear amber. Aroma is toasted malts, light caramel, light soap. Body is medium, lively carbonation, rather sweet (but not too much), a bit oily, low flavours. Sweet palate, caramel again. Quite good, but not your typical bock.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. A very light stout, but surprisingly tasty for its 4.1% ABV. Nice roast aromas, coffee and some liquorice. Taste is a bit weaker, tends to be watery or is killed by the healthy carbonization.

Bottle at Zirkus Monti in Zurich. Ah yes, the standard watery mediocre zwickel. There’s not more to say about this beer.

5dl bottle. Pours cloudy amber. Slight banana aroma. Crisp mouth feel, even less banana remaining. Works on a lazy sunny afternoon, though.

ClassicnWeizen appearance. Aroma is bready malts, no spices. Taste is bready, a bit spicy, where’s the banana? Texture is classic Weizen, a bit tart. Boring.

Amber color with small white head. Aroma of malts, yeasts, a bit Belgian. Taste is malty, spicy, and dry. Smooth carbonation. Not even bad, quite tasty, just dry.

First Rating on 14/12/2014. On tap at bQm. A typical Swiss IPA with too much malt but almost no hops. There is bitterness, but you wonder where it comes from. The only positive side is the nice colour, but it frankly is not what I?d expect from an IPA (4/3/4/2/8=2.1) Second rating on 28/01/2016. Tap to finish the cask at Erzbierschof Zurich. The 2.1 was a bit too harsh, but hey, I was a newbie. Still not good, but I hear it can be a lot better. Let’s hope I’ll get the real deal soon! (6/3/6/3/11=2.9)

Malty, very bready-malty. A bit of aroma hops coming through, but really not too much. Taste is both bready and bitter, a hint of fruits. After a few sips, most of the hops are gone. Moderately bitter, but nothing more. Not the most balanced or intense IPA, really nothing special.
