Bottle. Pours with a dark brown hued body with lightly reddish highlights. Some clarity. Oddly light for an RIS. Medium to large tan head lasts and leaves some lace. Aromas are malt forward: nutty, bready, biscuit, lightly earthy, low roast, chocolate, baked breads, very low dark fruit character. Hop aroma is low, lightly earthy, medium toasted character. Overall malty balance. Flavors are roasted, burnt malt character, lightly nutty, medium alcohol. Lasting tar like through the duration. Some bitterness (which seems to come equally from the malt as well as the hops), low dark fruit character, bitter balance, relatively dry. Light astringency, medium full bodied, lightly creamy, but not very full or velvety. Light warmth, on the drier edge of the Imperial Stout spectrum. Moderate carbonation.

Bomber from Beer Revolution. Pours darkish ruddy amber with a 1 finter creamy beige head. Aromas of very roast malt and citrus. Mostly roast malt. Med body. Flavor is sweetish red roast malt with some tag along citrus. Finishes more bitter than not, cause the malt is a little harsh, and the citrus hop helps. But that sweet malt nose is there everytime. It’s like Imperial Amber - and amber is not my thing. But there’s enough flavor and bitter to put this into the pretty decent range. If you want a really hoppy beer, this isn’t it. If you want a sicky sweet beer, this isn’t it. If you want a beer that’s pretty malty, but not over sweet, this may be it. Drinks damn well.

Bomber from Beer Revolution. Pours amber with a creamy off-white/beige head. Nose is pretty much citrus - grapefruit rind. Med body. Flavor is pine and cat pee citrus over a nice caramel. Funny eruption of a little melon. This is just excellent stuff.

Bomber from Beer Revolution. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is milkish chocolate with a hint of coffee. Full bodied. Tho it thins as the carb goes. Flavor is burnt malt bitter with some chocolate on the edges. Smells better than it tastes, perhaps, but it’s pretty good stuff. Chocolate gets stronger with time.
