Appearance: Orange dark golden, clear. Quite big off-white head.
Aroma: Light malt, herbs, some spices.
Taste: Herbs, vegetables, light maltiness. Odd one.
Bought: Coop Beer Advent Calendar, 330 ml, CHF 1.04

0.33l bottle from a coop in bern (6-pack). pours a cloudy golden with a frothy head. aroma of grains, hay, apples, some farmhouse notes. flavour of hay, sweet malts, red apples. bready, juicy, with a little bitterness towards the finish.

0.5l can from a coop at bern bahnhof. pours a clear pale golden with a steady head and a nice lacing. aroma of floral hops and hay. flavour of flowers, syrup. oily mouthfeel. quite nice and aromatic, but the flavour is more straightforward and a bit too sweet.

Tap at Erzbierschof Liebefeld. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, honey, peppers. Body is rather light, soft coffee, smooth texture, a bit oily. Also a bit thin. Dry-ish palate. Good.

Tap at Erzbierschof Krone. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is light banana, coriander, wheat, minerals. Body is medium, soft carbonation, a bit sweet, but rather thin. Dry palate. Okay, but rather unspectacular.

Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of sweet grain and malt. Taste has sweet chemical grain and maltose mostly. Slight sourness in the finish. Lots of co2. Unpleasent lager.

Hazy yellow-golden color with medium head. Aroma of a bit of lemons, grassy hops. Taste has a malt backbone is there, it’s sweet and flowery, lemony, but very weird. Meh. Not sure what to think of this one.

Appearance: Flip-top bottle. Pale yellow, slightly hazy. Some white head. Some sediments. Aroma: Citrus and hops. Slight malt. Taste: Nice, crisp. Good hops and malt. Some citrus fruit. Info: 500ml bottle, 5/3-2013, BB: 25/2-2013
