Bottle share courtesy of Dak, thanks! It pours with a deep dark purple to rosy red body. Nice. The aroma offers up rich berry notes, some earthy berry and a bit of sweet red grapes. The taste begins with rich sweet currant like berry notes that ramp right into a pretty rich nectar like sensation. As this moves to midway more and more slick sweet rich honey notes murmur to the surface. To balance out the rich sweetness are shards of tannin like fruit skin tartness that adds just the right amount of balance. Yum. This ends with a modest dryness that tempts you into another sip. Yes!

Bottle share courtesy of Dak, thanks! It pours with a clear water looking body that has a slight yellow hue to it. The aroma offers up waxy honey sweetness mixed with a pear like fruitiness and some booziness at the end of the draw. The taste has a quick honey sweetness that gets consumed by tartness that rolls into boozy hot roughness that has a rubbing alcohol feel to it. Overall a little too tart and too darn boozy.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Bottle share courtesy of Dak, thanks! It pours with a clear amber colored body that has gold edges. The aroma offers up rich sweet honey notes, some brown sugar covered red apple slices and a mild waxy honey sensation. The taste has a pleasing mix of smooth sweet honey rolling into a sweet nectar like berry note that has a tart tannin like edge to it. The modest tannin tartness seems to slide into sour yet sweet lime citrus notes. There’s a good play here between sweetness and sort of tart sourness but it is hard to put words to it. This ends with a pleasing somewhat dry mildly sour finish.
