Dark ruby color, medium-sized beige head. Aroma has Christmas spices, allspice, some dark fruits and caramel. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar: Christmas spicey (gingerbread), not too heavily. Balanced brew: caramalts, even a bit bready base with abbey dubbel yeast giving dark fruits. Ok Christmas spicey beer which paired well with spiced cake.

Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session. Copper colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, some sweet fruitiness as well as some slight wooden and spiced notes. Flavour is spicy, nutty, some sweet ripe fruits, mild nutty notes as well as some toast and mild nutmeg. Alcohol gives it a nice warming touch.

Huge cream-tan head, stable, over fully hazy brown beer. Cheesy hops, faintly lactic acid, fruity. Wood, lactic acid, chocolate (mainly bitter), pinewood. Metallic finish and aftertaste. Fruity, esters. Astringent, well-bodied, alcoholwarming. Promises a bit more than it delivers. Belgian? Not really. Txs to Bart from the Struise shop!
