Bottle, picked up in Takashima. I hope this is better than the Kolsch! Looks pretty crappy. Dull amber-orange, hazy, with a low head. Caramel nose, somewhat nutty. Lightly fruity. Thin, soapy, dry and bitter. Not quite as repugnant as the Kolsch, but I suspect both have been infected with the same bug. There is a bit of caramel malt and nuttiness, plus some hops, and then the dry, bitter nastiness. This brewery needs a good cleaning.

Bottle from a store in Takashima. Malty, grainy nose, fruity, citrus, apple. Cloudy dull gold with lace. Not attractive looking. Bitter and foul tasting, DMS, acetaldehyde. Very bitter and acerbic in the finish. Oily, soapy body. These people do not know how to brew.
