Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some light coffee notes with roasted malts and an underlying sweet chocolate. Flavor is more sweet chocolate forward with roasted malts and a bit of earthiness backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a touch of brown and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of rye with an earthy bread note and a bit of sweetness flavor is full of rye and earthy bread with just a bit of grass underlying.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Roasty, earthy nose with a bit of nuts, smoke, coffee and a touch of fruit. High dull bitterness. Very herbal, grassy, charred flavor. There’s a little smoke and burnt rubber and some anise. Finishes highly butter. Low carbonation. Not good.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy dark brown appearance with a thin brown head. Anise, celery, grass, mild roast, chocolate, and mild dark fruit. Dull carbonation. High bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Twangy, burnt sugar, anise, nutty flavor with a stalky veggie note. No thanks.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Blood orange, light cherry, caramel, citrus nose with a bit of toast. Medium body. Moderately sweet and moderate high bitterness. Caramel, mild celery, twangy flavor. Finishes herbal and bitter. I didn’t enjoy this very much.

Tap at Sisyphus. Red color. Good hop aroma. Dry and bitter flavor, salty, which was a surprise, and a dry, bitter hop aftertaste with pine.

Tap at Sisyphus. Very light. Orange color. Smooth and easy drinking, but not much flavor or aroma. It is fine for what it is, a session beer. Lightly bitter and dry malt with some bread dough is about all I get.

Tap at the brewery. Dry and bitter. Some peach in the aroma, which of course is from the hops. Lightly sweet with alcohol on the palate.

Tap at the brewery. Close to a Belgian, especially something about the yeast. Chocolate. Some leather. Clearly a high abv, but now that I am rating it, not as high as I thought. Some hopes. A successful attempt at an imperial brown.
