At Winterfest 2016. A wee heavy. Dark brown. Sweet, lots of malt flavor. They nailed the style, for what I expect of it at least. some caramel, sweet, rich malt flavor, heavy palate. This is what I think of for this style of beer.

Draft at the source. Slightly hazy golden amber color, see pic please. Nice earthy citrus aroma. Taste is earthy, bittersweet and fruity. Tasty.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear bright yellow, white head. Nice pineapple and grapefruit aroma. Taste of lightly bitter citrus.

Draft at the source. Clear dark ruby amber color, big fluffy tan head. Light spice aroma. Nice spiced toast flavor. Very tasty.

Draft at the source. Chillhazy amber color, fluffy tan head. Aroma of raw brown bread. Taste is sweet, malty, bready, earthy. Nice to see this style.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tons of straw and hay with a bit of bread and sweet grains. Flavor is similar with lots of straw, some biscuit and a bit of sweet grains.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a a clear gold with an orange hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a surprisingly strong onion note with earthy citrus and a bit of light grain. Flavor also has a good amount of onion with earthy citrus and a touch of sweet grain.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear deep amber brown with a grayish brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has lots of caramel with some sweet grains and a bit of toffee. Flavor has lots of caramel as well with sweet grains and a warming toffee underlying.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy pale yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has earthy grapefruit with some grass, a bit of musty pine and a wheat backbone. Flavor has a musty grapefruit note with a bit of earthy grass, onion and grain supporting.
