Appearance: Clear mahogany colour. Beautiful creamy ivory-coloured head. Aroma: Toasted malt, prunes, dates, smoke. Taste: Light sweet and bitter. Complex. Toasted malts, smoked cheese and bacon, various dried fruits, pronounced ending hop. Mouth feel: medium plus body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: Very good.

Appearance: foggy deep brown with a good ivory-coloured head. Aroma: dark malt, pine needles, black currant jam. Taste: light to medium sweet, medium bitter. Otherwise as described above. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: a bit too sweet due to the berriy jam. Not bad though.

500ml can from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours clear amber with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is grain, malt, faint caramel. Taste is light sweet, toasted malt, caramel, spicy hop. Medium bitter finish.

Appearance: opaque deep brown with a one finger tall beige head of decent retention. Aroma: roasted barley, chocolate and coffee, cream, spices. Taste: medium sweet, light bitter. As described above with additional peppery hop. Mouth feel: medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: solid.
Taster from a bottle, at a bottleshare during MBCC 23, Copenhagen. Black with little head. Roasted malts, coffee, barrel, bitterness.

Tap. Dark bronze color, grayish foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, dried fruits, muffins with raisins and prunes, a little fortified wine. Taste: sweetish, but not strong, caramel, a little dried fruit, prunes, pastries, wine, some hops, overall interesting and quite good.
