Handpull cask at the Scruffy Dog, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Light golf and clear with s small uneven off-white head and good lacing. Slightly spicy and metallic aroma, some apple and pear. Sweet and spicy taste, good balance here, more fruity hop nearer the slightly more hitter finish. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. May not be exactly my favourite kind of beer but these guys know how to brew.

Handpull cask at the Scruffy Dog, Sutton-in-Ashfield. At 4.2%. Very light gold, almost straw. Clean grainy aroma, hints of apple, gardenia, white grapefruit. Taste is a malty sweetness very quickly followed by a crisp bitterness. Bittering hops in the aftertaste with more apple skin. Light body, soft to medium carbonation. A cracking pale ale.
