Appearance: Opaque red with near to no head. Aroma: Fresh tomato juice. Spicy notes. Taste: Light sweet, spicy, hot. Tomato juice, barbeque sauce, chili pepper. Mouth feel: Medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: OK but nothing special.

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with an off-white frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma: catty tropical fruit, citrus, resin and pine, malt. Taste: Light sweet and light to medium bitter. Resin and pine needles, citrus fruit, distant tropical notes. Consistently hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: Not quite refined.Just OK.

Appearance: Opaque deep yellow to orange, small head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Tomato suce, barbeque, various spices. Light sweet, MOderately hot. Not that intense. Mouth feel: Medium minus body. Average to lively carbonation. Summary: Not as good as expected.

Appearance: Opaque deep red to brown with a small reddish head of low retention. Aroma and taste: Tomato paste, BBQ sauce, spices, salt. Light to medium sweet. peppery. A distant whiskey shade. Mouth feel: Medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: A decent tomato Gose.

Appearance: Cloudy amber with a tall off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: biscuit malt, floral and spicy hop, light caramel. Taste: Light to medium sweet and light bitter. Biscuit, caramel, floral and spicy hop. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Low intensity, low hop level despite the high IBU number.

500ml can from In Pivo Veritas in Moscow. Pours opaque dark orange with a medium-sized head. Aroma is juniper, pine, some herbs that I can’t name. Taste is medium sweet, juniper, herbs, malt. Sweet finish. Soft carbonation. Didn’t really like it.

Look: misty amber with a moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: grass, dank, hop burn, malt. Taste: initially malty. Sweet oxidized malt, grassy hop. No hop punch in ending. Light bitterness. Palate: medium minus body, soft carbonation. Overall: not great as an IPA.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown colour, small airy ivory-coloured head. of low retention. Aroma: roasted, dark malts, coffee, light esters. Taste: medium dry, roasted, toast, read, distant nail polish esters. Palate: extremely watery, soft carbonation. Overall: a basic stout ruined by lousy mouth feel.

Canned at 6.3% ABV. Appearance: Cloudy pale amber with a moderate ivory-coloured frothy head that stays quite for a while. Aroma: Initially strawberry esters and apple mousse, a minute later candies citrus fruit, walnut, biscuit malts, distant resin. Taste: Moderately sweet. malty start, fruity mid with citrus and a transitory apple note, walnut and resin at short light to medium bitter finish. The aftertaste is fairly bitter and hoppy. Palate: Medium minus body and carbonation. Overall: A calm kind of an IPA. Not an event. Drinkable enough.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown, noisy brownish foam. Aroma: blue plum, prunes, caramel, plum jam, wine, fruit esters. Taste: dark malt, caramel, sweetness and plums, prunes, plum jam, a little ash and burnt barley, bitter finish, a bit ubalanced.
