So this one smells nice & has a decent creamy mouthfeel. Unfortunately it is quite unbalanced. A big burst of bitter citrus on the finish. On its own I am not a fan....the only way to get it down is a side of fries. The fries balance it out.

Boozy, salty. Probably good dipped with a soft pretzel. Maybe ice cream. Thanks GMP!

Very crisp and clear deep amber, copper and bronze coloured body with an ugly, large-bubbled and oily tan head that stays afloat nicely, but at only one centimetre tall or so. Aroma of toffee, caramelised sugars, bright citrus, relatively pungent hops and some light tropical fruits with a light candy sweetness as well. Medium-bodied; Strong rich toasted malt and strong nutty, earthy and grainy notes dominate with a great layer of pungent, enjoyable hops that show a lot of alpha acids and bitterness, with pine, grapefruit and resin. Aftertaste is relatively straight-forward, but the toasted malts, caramelised sugars and deep nuttiness seem to almost overpower the hops, which are strong as well, but are understated seemingly, compared to the malts. Overall, a nice, fairly earthy IPA with a good balance and deep nuttiness that also hits some citrus fruits at the end. Nice to sample from the brewery, but not my favourite overall, due to the earthiness, which just isn't my favourite. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirits Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$4,04 just after cutting down the family Christmas tree, sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-December-2020, just eight days before Christmas.

Marshmallow, cinnamon, boozy. Watching World Junior warmup between Finland and USA. Maybe maple. Don't have any booze, so this is my nightcap. Thanks Gregg!

Hazy red with white head. Sour cherries, old wood, marzipan, apple vinegar. This is pretty sour. With some bubblegummy sweetness jumping in to smoothe things.
