Draught at Canary Square, 9/28/17.
Thoroughly hazy, auburn-chestnut with a butter-colored head atop that is medium-sized and shows good retention.
Cherry juice, honey, tangerine and other minor tropical fruit notes are bright and very aromatic. It's thankfully and surprisingly very low on the specialty malt character, showing no husk/bread/toast. Light pine/grapefruit finish but also low on the resin with no alcohol or flaw noted.
Soft, fruity, juicy and lightly tropical with tons of yellow and red fruits, and a good brace of bitterness to balance the juice and soft, lightly sweet honey-like malt. But for a touch of light toast and earth, you can barely tell it's got caramel/red malts in it; just the way a red IPA should be. Clean, good attenuation, soft texture, engaging carbonation and juicy citrus lingering. One of the best beers I've had from these guys.

Pours hazy apricot into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Sour overripe fruit aromas. Soft with rotting vegetables and overripe banana and mango upfront turning to earthy dirty resin and banana peels in the lasting finish

16 oz. can from a four pack purchase at Ball Street Liquors, Somerville, MA. Appearance is a cloudy yellow, thin lasting head. Aroma shows me mild peach, grass, mild pine.

Flavor follows the aromas. This was canned on 11-22-17. Even with time to sit and mellow a bit, it still shows aggressive bitterness and some touches of booze. This is rather rough around the edges to be real enjoyable.

Tasting at Erik's, can
Black color. Dirt aroma, cardboard, wet malts. Dry mouthfeel, a bit of roasted malts, little chocolate, swampy water, light sourness.
Not even a real Porter. Not convincing.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite dry, with toasted malt and some oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, dry oats and a hint of a metallic character. Dry and nicely structured. Solid.

Medium brown. Not much head. Has a mellow cocoa aroma, with a light chocolate note. Light body, with a chocolate note. OK, a relatively thin porter...has a light nuttiness. OK.

16 oz. can purchased at Julio's Liquors. Canning date of 10-12-17 with a stamp of "Mr.Buttons" next to the date. Hazy AF appearance, fast dying carbonation. Aroma is bold pine and lightly spicy rye grain, white bread. The flavor is dominate in rye. The Simcoe is used pretty nicely with a balance of malt. Don't get me wrong, this has a good amount of spice. But it is exactly as the Brewer describes it. Respectable.
