Labyrinth in the Sun from Graft Cider

Draft at N4, Whole Foods Williamsburg. Pale yellow, unclear. Funk and wood, some apple, a bit of citrus. Earth and grass. Rather dry and funky flavor. Really good. Another tasty tart and dry cider from Graft.

Farm Flor from Graft Cider

On tap @ Three’s Brewing. 6.7% Hazy, pale, dusty straw body. Still. Smell is a yeasty, orange/lemon, vinegary Spanish sidra. Taste is dominated by lemon, with a faint sweaty ginger, dirty armpit funk in the background. Sulfite headache. Yeasty, dry finish. A bit off, but okay.

Gose style. Uh-oh. 6.7%. On tap at Three’s Brewing. Hazy, unfiltered, still, straw body. Smell, is blue cheese, vinegar and salt. Taste is vinegar sour, lots & lots of lemon juice, ginger, & peach. Has that early homebrew gone sour flavor. Love gose, love cider, but this has too much going on. Thanks for the attempt though. Looking forward to the next batch.

Lost in the Woods from Graft Cider

Draft at Cooper's, Chelsea. Murky yellow. No head or lace. Fairly funky, done oak notes, apple, spice, and a bit of tropical fruit. Leans dry, but still has a plus sweetness to it.

Draft at Cooper's Craft and Kitchen, 12/3/16. Clear. Tart, earthy, and sour / apple flavor. Good funkiness to it. Bit of wood. Acetic side comes through pretty strongly. Definitely some interesting stuff here, it is showing me some range on cider that I haven't seen all that often.

Hop Tropic from Graft Cider

Draft at Cooper's Craft, 12/3/16. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly. Bright apple skin and citrus aroma. Tastes a little tart, nice juicy citrus hop flavor as well. Fizzy mouthfeel with a nice, light tartness on the close. Really enjoyed this one. Just an excellent hopped cider, one of the best I can recall trying.
