Can from Covenhoven. Mojito glass. Opaque, still, iced-tea looking-sorta brew. Smells of mellow ginger & honey. Acidic apples & subtle cinnamon candies. Taste is sorta okay. A murky half sweet blend of macerated ginger, twangy apple, mild cinnamon & black tea tannins. Sorta a little like cold, runny apple cobbler. It's yeasty texture & near flat carbonation aren't helping. ABV feels about right. Doesn't taste bad, just isn't very appealing. Meh.

Hazy golden coloured body with an off-white head that shows some honey tints, but a very soft, fast-dying white head, just like most of their products. Aroma of light citrus notes, but a bunch of apples of course, with an overlying spice note that shows very nicely. Light-bodied; Strong apple and pear flavours dominate with a lot of spices that show a cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloe bite with a great sweetness, mainly from the apples and fruits than from honey, but hits nicely and is very easy-drinking. Aftertaste is rich, yet soft, with the apples and easy-drinking fruits front and centre, showing some honey and alcohol, but the spices dominate, especially at the end, while being very easy-drinking with the apple sweetness hitting well and some honey supplying some depth. Overall, a very nice Graft product, as usual, with a great profile and superb flavours coupling the fruits nicely. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 06-December-2019 for US$3,99 sampled on the streets of New York, New York, a few hours later on 06-December-2019.

On tap @ Glorietta Baldy. Tulip pour. Color is sort of a magenta. Off-white head. Smell is sweetened blueberries, box juice, caramel. Slightly floral & candy-sh. Taste is majorly blueberry. Tight twangy & deeper black/raspberry flavor. Indifferent apple skin flavor. Finishes with a tail of faint caramel salt. Carbonation is a little bite-y, but not full. Thin body, with a slickness on the end. Simpler then your usual graft craziness, but I enjoyed the deep & genuine flavor more then several of their compounded offerings.

When the lid was cracked, I almost barfed immediately. This has to be the worst smelling product that I've ever entered into RateBeer and that includes some pretty awful beers. If you have been to SouthEast Asia and you know the smell immediately when you enter a room (shop) that there is a cut up, WARM, durian lobe somwhere...this is that smell, somehow multiplied. Raw onions, rotting meat, funk, odd fruits and a spoiled pineapple on top of that mix - absolutely disgusting, and if I could give a negative aroma score, I absolutely would. The colour is pink, slightly violet and showing a faint off-white head that fades fast. Light-bodied; Strong fruit flavours show first with the stronger, meatier funk right behind with some durian notes, onion flavours and a dash of apples under those way more pungent notes. Aftertaste shows the funk and pungent meaty/umami notes that aren't good - just pure bad and nasty. Overall, if you can make it past the smell, the flavour is slightly better, but still insanely pungent and strong, in all the wrong ways. I absolutely love Graft ciders, but this was easily the worst drink I've had in a very long time, perhaps many years. I found it a challenge to make it through, and I did so almost as a joke, but I did NOT pour this out, that said, it was horrible to make it through. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$3,69 sampled in my hotel room in Richmond, Virginia on 25-October-2019.
