Smells like fermentation of vegetables and sulfur The pour is a pretty gold color. Taste is grapefruit with a sulfuric aftertaste.

Collard greens, weed, garbage disposal smell. Cloudy yellow. Apple, lightly tart, weed. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Drinkable, but the smell is dank in a most unpleasant way.

Can from Covenhoven. Ommegang anniversary glass. Pale/gray, cloudy lemon straw body. Smells of lemon juice, faint florals, dried orange & salt. Tastes of watered down lemonade, pretty florals, yeast & salt. Strong acid. Carbonation dies really fast. Drinks like flavored water. Refreshing, but I would have never guessed this was a cider or was from Graft.

Pour @ Covenhoven. Tulip. Opaque, ginger ale/straw body. Melding scent of spices. Cinnamon, tumeric more then others; sugar. Label says honey. Taste is sweet orange, peppery ginger, very light prickly heat, lemon, moderate tartness, faintly sour, fainter acetone. Somewhat salty. Thin, carbonic, lingering heat. Finishes sweet. Gets better on the second pour if you're not convinced it's too odd for ya. Okay.

Super, ridiculously pale coloured gold (if that) straw yellow coloured body with almost a white glow and no movement or head on this one at all. Aroma of salt, brine, alcohol, astringent dryness and of course, a heavy dose of apples throughout - quite strong, especially for the producer and for the style. Light to Medium-bodied; Dry and very floral apple flavours at first with some tart and lightly soured fruit notes with citrus and alcohol noticeable, but the apples, pears and light spices (canella and allspice) show most dominantly with a light salty and briney finish. Aftertaste shows more apples and fruits than anything else, but a nice lightly sweet and flavourful finish with some herbs, grass, dry apples and floral finishes with a good balance between salt, dryness and fruity sweetness. Overall, a nice cider option and while on the dryer side of things, a good offering to show some briney notes while remaining true to the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 20-November-2018 for US$2,69 sampled at my house here in Washington on 13-June-2019.

Sour and alcoholic smell to nose. Loud fruit smells of mainly apple with other fruit smells mixed in with it. Intense sour taste that may make you pucker with first sip. Lol. Aftertaste is sweet and tangy.

A hazed golden cider with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity apple juice with light orange pulp, light tropical fruits, light Brett, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart sweet fruity apple with Epsom salts, light Brett, light citrus pulp, pleasant. On tap at Lupulus.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this cider poured a red-pink color with a small foamy pink-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sour, chalky and perfumey with vague berry, wood and windex. The flavor was very tart and dry with blueberry and vanilla notes. Long finish. Medium body.

Ridiculously crisp violet and pink coloured body with an ever so thin pure white head that fades very quickly (per usual) with an amazing glow of ruby, pink and violet. Aroma of alcohol, apples, rhubarb, grain, light cranberries, a dose of subdued yeast and some more astringent citrus notes towards the end. Light-bodied; Dry and very sweet flavoured apples and spiced pears show with a good deal of vanilla and creamy lactose show through, but the heavy hitter is the rhubarb and tart berry notes that hit really hard especially towards the end, in a good way. Aftertaste shows a great balance between all the sweet and more noticeable apple sweetness and the tart and astringent berry and citrus notes that want to make your mouth pucker. Overall, a very nice and incredibly flavourful cider with a good spicey kick, but also showing the berries and tart notes throughout to make this complex, especially for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 11-May-2019 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 21-May-2019.
