Sampled @ Trierer Bier Festival 2018. A clear deep amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of red fruits, resinous hops, spruce. Taste of resinous bitter hops, pine, red fruits, caramel.

“craftBEE No 1, Amber Honey“, Flasche (33 cl) von Getränke Köhler, Kassel. - Kein echtes Honigbier sondern ein Biermischgetränk aus 90 % Vollbier und 10 % Wasser und Honig, gebraut bei Hütt, Baunatal. - Goldbraun, trüb; knapper Schaum. - In der Nase dunkles Malz, warme Frucht und eine mild würzige Note von Waldhonig. - Antrunk mild herbfruchtig-dunkelmalzig mit deutlicher Süße, die in eine leicht holzige Herbe übergeht und erst dann leichte Anklänge an Honig zeigt. Leicht wie ein Erfrischungsgetränk. Dunkelmalzbitterer Abgang mit holziger Herbe. Unangenehm ranziger Nachtrunk. - Ziemlich süß und schlecht gehopft: wenig originelles Getränk.

Thnx to Joost ! Gusher alert ! Pours dark, caramelly brown. White unstable head. Smell is bit sweet, biscuit, brown malts, caramel, earthy. Taste is rather sweet, mild cocoa, crunchy dark malts. Bit caramel, some leaves. Great quad, terrible imperial stout.
