“craftBEE No 1, Amber Honey“, Flasche (33 cl) von Getränke Köhler, Kassel. - Kein echtes Honigbier sondern ein Biermischgetränk aus 90 % Vollbier und 10 % Wasser und Honig, gebraut bei Hütt, Baunatal. - Goldbraun, trüb; knapper Schaum. - In der Nase dunkles Malz, warme Frucht und eine mild würzige Note von Waldhonig. - Antrunk mild herbfruchtig-dunkelmalzig mit deutlicher Süße, die in eine leicht holzige Herbe übergeht und erst dann leichte Anklänge an Honig zeigt. Leicht wie ein Erfrischungsgetränk. Dunkelmalzbitterer Abgang mit holziger Herbe. Unangenehm ranziger Nachtrunk. - Ziemlich süß und schlecht gehopft: wenig originelles Getränk.

Thnx to Joost ! Gusher alert ! Pours dark, caramelly brown. White unstable head. Smell is bit sweet, biscuit, brown malts, caramel, earthy. Taste is rather sweet, mild cocoa, crunchy dark malts. Bit caramel, some leaves. Great quad, terrible imperial stout.

Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Fruity and honey-ish start with drying herbal notes; almost lingering fruity and herbal-spicy finish. 20.VII.17

Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly malty and honey-ish fruity taste with subtle fruity and floral hints. Likeable. 20.VII.17

Taste is slightly sweet-ish, pale malty, notes of honey with a floral touch, hoppy overtones with a refreshing touch of lemon; minimally sticky palate,

330ml bottle [as No 1 Amber Honey]. Minimally hazy, dark amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Flat, minimally sweet-ish, honey aroma. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally sugary notes of honey, waxy hoppy overtones; watery passages. Monotonous, neither overly rich nor complex, rather restricted honey flavours, simple sugary honey sweetness, no floral or earthy nor whatsoever additional overtones.
