On tap at Dutch Taproom. Pours hazy dull gold with a beige head. Dried fruits, twigs, and dry caramel on the nose. Flavour has dried berries, dry herbs, dry caramel malts, earthy twigs. Nice, it's always fun to try this style.

Bottle from local Gall&Gall. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, Whisky. Taste: Dense and smooth malty base, hoppy backbone. Roasted malt, chocolate, Whisky and sweetish and fruity (white grape) Sherry notes. Fruity hints of apple and some almond. Over moderate sweet, light bitterness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity and combination of flavors. One of the better nowadays BA Jopen beers.

Pretty clear blond beer, big aery irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: floral notes, tropical fruits, oranges, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of citrus, fruity, some tropical fruits, a little bitter. Aftertaste: fruity, a bit resinous, hoppy, very soapy bitterness, floral, resinous hops, very bitter, meh. Not very great. Also: who puts 18 or maybe even 24 months on an IPA?
