½ pint jar pour at Fette Sau. Thick brown head on a black body. Aroma is very watery roasted malts. Light coffee and cocoa can be found as well. Taste is richer with some oiliness and prune-y chocolate roast. Light yet a lightly viscous mouthfeel. Chelsea still puts out good stouts.

Pint pour at a vegetarian place on Ave. B. The color is lightly hazy amber with a small, strong, and sticky head. Aroma is resiny and bitter citrus peel. Its a very dry hop aroma. Taste follows suit with a pretty apparent bitterness present throughout and a dry hop flavor. It has a light medium body, which makes for a drinkable body to a bitter IPA.

Cask at GBBF 2008 Nice soft sweet tangerines on the aroma, also some hops. Soft in the mouth, but nice tanginess and without the aggression of some of the bigger American IPA’s, but very nice and most enjoyable.

Cask at GBBF 08. Hazy copper, thin beige head. Lovely grapefruit hop aroma. Good, tasty, nettley in mouth. Really very nettley, tasty though. That’s a pretty good above average IPA. Nice nettle hop.
