Bottled. Clear very pale yellow, slightly viscous. Floral peach aroma. Sweet with honey and sugar. Very floral with some white pepper and butter. Honey sweetness lingers in the finish. Even if this is the sweetest I’ve tried from Mjödhamnen it is much less intense and restrained than for instance the Polish meads.

Bottled. Clear very pale yellow. Spicy, somewhat citric hawthorne aroma. Really cry and citric. Tart white wine lemon and bitter herbs. Hawthorne is evident -honey not so much. Very drinkable with eviden flavours, but perhaps not that much depth.

50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with gnoff. Mead or wheatwine? Dorée/orangée, col blanc. Arôme bouquet frais mielleux, note pomme caramel. En bouche, reste douce et mielleuse, se ressent sur tout le palais, léger picotement, côté bien sauvage de fruits et miel surtout de baies sauvages sur une pointe sucrée. Un léger pétillement à noter.

500 ml bottle courtesy of rlgk. Shared at epic tasting on February 11. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is very sweet and floral with honey, bread and dark berries. Taste is very sweet, floral and slightly metallic with floral nectar, honey, very ripe peaches, apricot, banana and wood. Mouthfeel is rather full-bodied and sticky sweet. Finish is sweet with honey and floral nectar. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mölska Bergslagen (2011) on 02 Mar 2018 at 11:12 - Score: 6

Bottled@SBWF2011. Yellowish golden colour with some slight haze, no head. Aroma is fruity, honeyish along with some fruits and mild alcohol as well. Flavour is citrus fruits, some honey, mild spices as well as some alcoholic burn to it. More complex, but at the same time not as balanced as the other meads from Mjödhamnen.
