Draught @ George Keeley, Manhattan (June 2024). Hazy lemon yellow with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus peel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste, thin body, long finish. Decent, not great.

Draught @ George Keeley, Manhattan (Feb 2024). Cloudy dark yellow with a creamy beige head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste, thin body, long finish. Not bad, not very remarkable either.

Draught @ Gun Hill Publick House, Brooklyn (Feb 2024). Cloudy pale yellow with a large foamy whitish head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter lightly citrusy taste, thin body, medium finish. Watery, not so good.

Draught @ Gun Hill Publick House, Brooklyn (Feb 2024). Cloudy dark orange with a large foamy off-white head that flops fast, faintly acidic malt aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter tart taste with woodsy flavor, thin body, long tart finish. It is an interesting brew; probably due to not barrel aging long enough, the barrel has not brought anything else than the woodsy flavor.

Draught @ the Publick House (Feb 2024). Cloudy dark orange with a very small frothy whitish head, faint malt aroma, medium bitter malty taste with earthy flavor, typical Belgian yeast flavors, thin body, long finish. Tastes more like a saison than a dubbel.

Keg at the baroness. Pours black, nose is burnt sugar, chocolate, liquorice, cream, taste is roasted, bitter, liquorice, sugary.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenny, 19/10/23. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized lasting beige cap. Nose is fruit cake mix, bourbon, spice, dark malts, figs, dates, vinous notes. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, bourbon, tobacco, dates, figs, toffee fudge, brown sugar dusting. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spiked of warming alcohol. Solid BA BW.
