How Pee-Pa's Garage came about: Jim Brown, who was the owner of North St. Pete Collision decided to turn his collision shop into a brewery! "After almost 40 years in the car industry, with retirement looming, I was working on my barn in Georgia, putting together my man cave / home brew hangout. One weekend afternoon, I thought, why should I have all the fun, and the idea for Pee-Pa’s brewery was born.

Tap at source. Deep pale, almost hints of orange in the color. Clear.Aroma of pittsburgh slag. First taste is bitter and a little rude, hard to find any dort in this. Needs som3 maqnners to live up to the stuff from the old country. A little disappointing for a local lager. Much more ill-mannered peronality than I like. Has to come a long way if it wants to be in the same class as Masthead Participation, Švyturys Ekstra or even Jackie o's Gold Denim.

Tap at source. I'm not sure if the barmaid gave e the wrong beer or not. The stuff she gave me for this is not a hefe, it certainly is more like a wheat ale. I know some brewers confuse hefes with wheat. This beer has all the character of a wheat ale; bitter sharply, completely clear. No hefe character at all. No bubble gum no banana no clove no sweet characters, just a wheat ale, very disappointing. I ordered a hefe cause I like hefe but I don't like wheat ale. Blah.

Tap at source. Clear pale. Clean fresh beery nose. Medium bitter taste of hay and gravel. Good level co2. Goes down fairly easy.

Tap at source. Supposedly the same beer as their local lager but with some flavoring. This draft is clear pale with a gravel aroma. Yes there is strawberry in the taste but just barely. A little rude for a fruit beer. Was expecting more. Disappointing.

Tap at source. Nice roasty smell, nice! Very dark almost black. First taste is is surprisingly dark bitter baking chocolate. In the middle, the bitterness starts to rise. Yes, roasty half burned damp old campfire wood. Unfortunately, the burnt bitterness rises to a sharp rude awakening on the finish.

Tap at source. Slight haze on a pale beer. Friendly mild orange nose . I think on the first taste I am getting some hints of orange in there. Has decent co2. Less astringent than most of the beers I've had here. Probably the better one out of the 6 beers Ive had here over the week.
