Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of peppery and floral hops with stone fruits. The taste is earthy, resiny hops, caramel and stone fruits. Almost phenolic. Medium bodied, average carbonation, slight lingering bitterness. Solid beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear vibrant copper with a large tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Nice looking beer. Aroma of big citrus hop notes. The taste is bitter citrus hops, lots of lime and some tropical and resin notes. Some crackery malts. Medium bodied. Quite drinkable, even if off balance a bit.

Growler from Beer Run shared at the 17th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 1/28/12. Pours an almost murky brown with nearly no head. Aroma of big citrus notes, a bit of funk, caramel and earthy notes. The taste is caramel, butterscotch, green apple, bitter hops and earthy notes. Medium bodied with almost no carbonation.

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a medium creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, nuts and a sweet finish. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, nuts and faint bitter hops. Smooth, medium bodied and soft carbonation. Nice beer.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear very pale yellow with a medium sized creamy slightly off-white head. Decent head retention. Tart and lactic aroma with notes of citrus, peach, earth and stone fruits. The taste is tart with notes of peaches and peach pits. Medium bodied. Nice.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy red-amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of smoke, caramel malts and a fruity finish. The taste is assertive smoke, stone fruits, caramel and a bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a thin white head that fades quickly. Aroam of wheat, citrus, chocolate and spice. The taste is roast, caramel, chocolate, wheat, spice and citrus. Medium bodied.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earth and resin hops with faint malts. Very bitter resin hops in the taste, some earthiness and faint malts. Definitely a hop bomb. Medium bodied. Not bad but I would like some more balance.

on tap @GABF-pours dark black with a tight light brown head. Aroma is medium/dark malt-peat. Taste is medium/dark malt-peat/roasty, 2nd spice hops.
