Growler from the brewpub on 4/19/10. Pours a dark red color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of vanilla, maple and faint raisins. The taste is caramel, toffee, raisins, peppery oak notes and vanilla in the finish. Medium bodied. The wood works nicely with this one.

Growler from the brewpub, Pours a clear pale gold color with a thin head. Fair head retention and poor lacing. Aroma of pale malts, corn, grass and apple-like fruity notes. The taste is grainy malts, corn, faint grass and fruity notes, some alcohol present. Medium bodied. Fairly decent.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium frothy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malts, melon, and leafy, floral hops. The taste is minty hops, tea, green apple, caramel, other stone fruit notes. Medium bodied. Good, but definitely an odd beast.

on tap-pours a rich light brown head and black color. Aroma is coffee grounds, roasty. Taste is coffee grounds, roasty-dark malt, some acidic hops. Not my taste.
