Taster pour at Crazy Bash. Cloudy, bright yellow, ring of head, trace lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, and berry/melon. Taste is nonspecific fruit. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste, lingering bitterness. Aroma bests taste.

16 oz can. No date code. Crystal clear gold in appearance. Nose is light honey-ish malt and soft yeast. Flavor follows with a weak mineral balance. Thinner body even for the style. Very soft sweet finish that makes it end clean. Perfect to pair with dinner.

16 oz can. No date code. Aroma and flavor are equal. Soft, natural strawberry, vanilla, and a very mild Hartness underneath it. Thankfully, the lactose was used sparingly. Still a good amount of tartness that lingers after the sip. Drinks easy.

Can from Steve. Hazy orange-yellow with tons of sparkle, thin head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is white grape with lighter citrus and pine, very mild herb. Taste is white grape with bitter pine and grapefruit. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry, crisp finish as taste with lingering yeast and bitterness. The good news is I'm not sure any of its shortcomings have to do with reducing the gluten. The bad news is that there's a good thing going with sweet grape-y Nelson that then gets arrested by the bitter pine. Would be much better with enhancing the bright citrus aspects of Motueka or going with Citra.

Murky dark orange colour, steady white head. Overriped tropical fruits in the nose, some harsh notes. Light-bodied. Pineapple and watermelon flavours, some harsh notes. Pale malts, light. Tolerable.
